Measuring 3″ x 4″ this dish is made entirely of Spanish cedar wood.  Spanish cedar is a soft cedar wood that is red in color and has a wonderful spicy cedar aroma.  This cedar is a naturally rot and mold resistant wood that functions exceptionally well as a soap dish
This soap dish is left unfinished all natural wood.  It functions just fine as a natural wood product…or apply some wood oil to this soap dish and watch as the natural colors pop out vibrantly.

While a soap dish increases the life of your soap, did you know that it is possible to increase the life of your soap dish.  I recommend using soap dishes in pairs.  Use one soap dish for 2-3 weeks.  Then wipe the soap dish clean with a damp cloth and set aside to allow it to fully dry out while using the second soap dish.  Alternating soap dishes this way will prevent mold and mildew from developing, and it will significantly extend the life of your soap dish.
